new console system

A link to what discussion has come before.

To summarize my previous comments:

I hope the OUYA and the people behind it are very successful, but I couldn't justify dropping $100 on another gaming device when I already own a PS3, a Wii, a PS2, a Dreamcast, a PS1, a DS Lite, a GBA SP, and a PC. As I've mentioned elsewhere, my backlog is ridiculously long.

I love the ideas behind the OUYA (open platform, rooting the hardware doesn't void your warranty, all games are required to have some free gameplay like a demo) and the names behind it lead me to believe they'll be able to navigate the games market, so I don't share the skepticism of many analysts.

If I end up getting an OUYA down the line, it will likely be after there are some great exclusive games and a hardware revision (e.g. 2GB RAM instead of 1GB RAM).
