Looking good. Now if only I lived closer so I could help you get it completed faster.... If only we all lived closer in general.... *Prays we all have to live within 8 hours of each other....*

I like the house. It looks like it will be a good home and a good place to raise a family... (You are planning on that someday right?)
 
That is a great house Rachel. Very happy for you and like pie mentioned wished we could all be there to help it get done faster.
 
What a weekend we had...

We finished carpeting one room, vacumed it, etc.

We finished the office - painted the floors a mahogany color, and the door frames and polyurethaned the floors - so they are shiny!

We stained the bedroom, hallway, and living room. They should be dry by Wednesday. Then all we have to do is polyurethane those floors - so they will be shiny too!

We also finished painting the bathroom and layed the new tile floor in the bathroom. So all we have to do now is put in the toilet and the vanity.

We(well I should say babo) put in a new lock on the door - keyless entry lock - we have a code!

I finished painting all the baseboards.

So polyurethane floors, toilet, vanity, and I'm hoping we can start moving boxes back in this weekend coming up - possibly get the office set up so that we can play some CS - it's been three weeks since we played any counter-strike :(
 
Good news is you got quite a bit done. You have obviously worked very hard. Now, just to get it finished and get you moved in so you all can set up house. We have missed you all on CS and can't wait to see you on again soon. It will all be worth it though once it is done. :)

It is finished.....KIND OF FINISHED....

We moved in this weekend, everything was moved in and put into place. Tonight we have to put an entertainment center together for the living room.

We moved in, however, we don't have a functioning kitchen at the moment. And I still have baseboards to paint in 1 1/2 rooms. But at least everything else is moved in and we are all set up. For now, while we work on the kitchen during evenings and weekends we will be eating dinner at my parents house.

We are so happy to be moved in, but we are also feeling VERY exhausted.

Four weeks exactly today. It's hard to believe what we have accomplished in such a short amount of time. I'm hoping that we can get the entertainment center put together tonight and the baseboards done so that we can possibly play some CS tomorrow night!!!!
 
Glad to hear you are moved in. We have been wondering how it is all going. I hope to see you online again soon. It has been too long not having you on CS.
 
entertainment centers take longer to put together than I ever imagined....

i fell asleep around 10 last night....babo woke me up at 12 to tell me he had finished building it...needless to say we weren't going to get on and play that late....

the good news is that all we have to do tonight is actually get the tv in the entertainment center and hook everything up - so the chances of us getting on tonight are much greater!

we found termites today, eating our kitchen floor. As of right now they have completly gnawed through the subfloor and foundation in an area about 5 feet by 4 feet....we are extremely happy that the refrigerator didn't fall through the floor, as it happened to be sitting right on the bad floor. We have since moved the refrigerator and pulled up the lineoleum and started spraying the termites we have seen so far. We were hoping to have the kitchen finished by this weekend so we would be moved in all the way....and just about the time we feel like we are finished, now we have to replace the kitchen floor....:(
 
Not cool. Hope that you get them all.... It may be a good idea to call terminex or something to check everything... Just a thought. I'll be praying.
