... and could maybe find this info if I searched hard enough elsewhere ... but how do you go between the various races' hunting areas? And at level 20, would there be any point to seeking out the dwarven/gnomish/night-elven racial lands for hunting? I notice lots of them running around our areas, but I'm not sure how to get to their lands (other than a few low-level alts I have allready there).

Sorry to sound so new, but this is my first character over 10 in WoW ... I've played plenty of other MMO's but I'm still learning the in's and out's of this one.

I am not sure what your looking for , The actul maps(directions) to get from one area to the other, or , well I do not know.

everyone has there favoriate area, alliance, level 20, I like wetlands :)

Here is some information on the best way to level 12-20 as Alliance IMO:

Level 12-20:
- Westfall [Sentinel Hill, Westfall Lighthouse]
- Loch Modan [Thelsamar, Farstrider's Lodge, Stonewrought Dam]
- Darkshore [Auberdine]
- Instance: Deadmines

Complete the easiest quests in the first area that you go to (Night Elves should visit Darkshore first, Dwarves/Gnomes should visit Loch Modan first, Humans should visit Westfall first.) Move onto the next zone, and do the same, but this time you can complete more of the zone. Leave the most difficult, unless you can get a group for them - don't waste too much time on it, though. Move onto the last zone and complete all, or nearly all of the quests available in that zone. By this time, you should be about level 17-18. Go back to the first zone, and complete the rest of the quests there.

Typically, my "first zone" is Westfall, in which case you can go back when you are done with both Loch Modan and Darkshore, and finish the Van Cleef line of quests and be at a good level to run the Deadmines instance.

with you being a paladin and at lv 20 have you done your lv 20 weapon hammer quest? If you have then you have been into some of the other races areas, if not then you will, and you can start picking up flight paths from there. I can't remember all of the quest, but I know it has you going into the deadmines for some wood, and then into Loch Moden to find a crate, and then on through South Shore to Shadow Fang Keep (I know SFK isn't in SS but you have to go through there to get to it) and then one of the final parts is where the lv 12-20 night elfs hand out in Darkshore to a place called Black Fathoms Deep. While you are over in that area you can drop on over to the Night Elf major city called Darnassas to see what that is like and say you have been there.
So doing this quest, you can get alot of good flight paths needed for later on in the game when leveling up.
So if you haven't done this quest, post another message that you are looking for help and others can help you get the quest done and they can help you get the flight paths along the way. You can look at the different mobs in the area for their levels and see if you want to go back into that area to do some quests if you feel like going back.

here is a great guide to levelling all the way to 60. It doesn't have any spoilers, just suggested zones you should be in at what level. The site is fairly clean but I would stay away from reading the comments after the post. Never know what junk ppl say in those.

Well, like Ironforge, I have a quest to take stuff there on my Pally, but I have no idea how to get to the dwarven homelands. The road nort from the Redridge Mountains is impassable to a lone traveller of my age. I have seen some of the dwarven lands with a young dwarven hunter alt, but I'd love to view them as a little more profficient pally.

I picked it up, but I haevn't gone to Westfall to actually start it yet.
