Tebran tanked Strat SM for us tonight and right before Balnazzar and archvist galford our warlock ended up getting disco'd. so with no soul stone and 2 priests, me(rogue) and Tebran the pally tank we decided to go for it:P Archvist galford went down like a sack of potatos so we decided to pwn Balnazzar too, after the humanoid got to 40% and turned into balnazzar he MC'd me and I mowed down strongtower to almost death but he survived, got back on the demon then he MC'd me again and this time he joined me in annihilating strongtower so we were down to 3 with the boss around 70%:( After 2 or 3 more MC attempts with me almost killing Laraptor and her using every bit of mana, most of tebrans mana and lara popping dark runes we ended up pwning that demon and sending him back where he came from:) Redeemed rocks the 3 man strat boss fight! hehe

Not sure how entertaining it is to read but it was awesome for those that were there lol
 
Sounds like a great time was had by all, except me who was sleeping.

MC can usually be dispelled by priests for next time.
 
That fight was insane.

We honestly didn't think we could do it, but with our warlock d/ced and certain respawns at the beginning we knew we didn't have a choice, so we might as well give it a try.

When I was tanking him I forgot that he went to 100% health when he transformed into phase 2, so that kinda scared me and I thought it could be over. Then Strongtower died, and things all of a sudden got a lot more interesting and insane. I think we were operating off of adrenaline more than we were mana or energy, it was crazy!

I guess you could say we were cheating a little, because we had better than average healers :) Strongtower and Laraptor did great through the entire dungeon run, including the boss fight.
 
normal MC can but the balnazar wasnt letting lara dispell me, I was asking her to:) Yeah I was a little worried when I killed strongtower and he was still at 70%, big props to lara and tebran for keeping us all up throughout the rest of the fight and big props to strong for cheering us on. I got real scared towards the end when everyone was out of mana and he MC'd me again but lara got a rune off for a little lifesaving mana hehe. Pally tank FTW!

A great time was had by all, my only problem was is was after 1am and I was so pumped up after we beat him I dont think I fell asleep for at least an hour lol. Thanks Strongtower, Tebran and Laraptor for coming, and AGX as well for helping us get started. That was one of the most fun times I had, cracking up on Vent with guildies and running an insta with them is one of the best reasons for joining Redeemed:)
 
To keep mental note of for next time:

Priests can fear the MC, Mages can sheep them, Pallys can stun them and so can rogues, who can blind them on top of it all necessary. Locks can mez them, only if they have the succabus up, otherwise they can fear them. Warriors can intimidating shout them, hunters can trap them. Druids can entangle.

Its better to crowd control your MCed party member then to have them attack you or for you to attack them. With the exception of the warrirors intimidating shout and the rogues stun locks, all the CC effects listed above can be dispelled when the MC wears off by your local priest or pally.

Goblit, Tars and I, Gnomegedon and another Roadkill member (Ominivorous) were also in Strath SM at the same time. LOL.
 
good ideas, I was the only one lucky enough to get MCed lol. think it was at least 3 or 4 times, yeah twice I attacked strong, once lara and the last time was tebran. Guess the adrenaline was pumping we all forgot about fears/stuns at the time, strong eventually got finished off by the demon so I didnt totally kill him:P next time have to remember the fear
 
Wow sounds like an Awesome fight. Congratz guys on a job well done.

I always knew Tebran liked a challange. ( soloing Princess "mara" way back when).
And that Is great Info on dealing with MC Gods_peon. I will try to remember that.:D
 
Pretty amazing story. We did the same fight last night (was the first time for me) with an intact group and it was still quite challenging. There was no way we could've pulled it off with four (even with excellent healing from Tars).

Next time if I can tag along let's see if we can take on Jarien and Sothos who can be summoned in Balnazzar's room.

This dropped after taking them down. Not a bad healer piece. Rolled on it mistakenly though although fortunately the druid won.
 
This seems fitting, no wonder I always wanted to level a pally tank:P Guys like Tebran and Sandric doing it before it was popular after BC hehe
