A post in our forums by the second in command of my guild:
Some of you know my wife has been chronically ill for a while now. Tuesday we got some wonderful, hopeful news. However it will mean surgery, reconstruction, and rehabilitation for her. All while the two of us are raise two teenage daughters, hold a job and run a household . This means my playtime will be greatly reduced for the next month or two.
That explains the reduced playtime, it does not explain why I left. I have enjoyed playing with all of you since joining the Templars. However, lately I have just not enjoyed myself lately. I have not found the “escape” I was looking for. I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I may reroll. I may go back to WoW to spend some time playing with my daughters and nephews. I got a copy of LOTRO for my birthday that I have not checked out yet.
Please understand that leaving quietly has always been my way, there really are no major issues from my part just a change in my playing needs at this time. I will be on from time to time so I may see you out on the battlefield.
