Hey guys. Yesterday was a long, interesting, and ultimately disappointing day. About 15minutes from the end of my shift on Wednesday I was drafted to work a double shift so I didn't get off until 8am yesterday morning. I finally got home at 8:30am and went to bed but I know I had stuff to do. My mother in-law came over and her and my wife went out so our daughter wouldn't wake me up since I would only get 5 hours of sleep before getting up and going back to work. They got home and around 1:30pm my wife woke me up with a pregnancy test. I'm taking it like things, in stride. Im excited that my wife and I might be pregnant. However at 9:45pm last night my mother in-law called me from the hospital letting me know that my wife was having severe headaches, her left side had gone numb, her tongue had swollen up making her sound drunk, and that she had been admited to the ER with a possible overnight stay. I immediately called my shift captain to inform him of the situation and he gave me permission to leave immediately thankfully. So at 2am this morning the doctor finally examined the chart and told us that everything checked out normal. He is however worried that my wife is going through a false pregnancy with complications. My wife had a miscarriage when we first married and it was devistating for both of us. Please pray for the both of us.
