Hey guys. Yesterday was a long, interesting, and ultimately disappointing day. About 15minutes from the end of my shift on Wednesday I was drafted to work a double shift so I didn't get off until 8am yesterday morning. I finally got home at 8:30am and went to bed but I know I had stuff to do. My mother in-law came over and her and my wife went out so our daughter wouldn't wake me up since I would only get 5 hours of sleep before getting up and going back to work. They got home and around 1:30pm my wife woke me up with a pregnancy test. I'm taking it like things, in stride. Im excited that my wife and I might be pregnant. However at 9:45pm last night my mother in-law called me from the hospital letting me know that my wife was having severe headaches, her left side had gone numb, her tongue had swollen up making her sound drunk, and that she had been admited to the ER with a possible overnight stay. I immediately called my shift captain to inform him of the situation and he gave me permission to leave immediately thankfully. So at 2am this morning the doctor finally examined the chart and told us that everything checked out normal. He is however worried that my wife is going through a false pregnancy with complications. My wife had a miscarriage when we first married and it was devistating for both of us. Please pray for the both of us.

God Bless

Lord Jesus, you are the Almighty. Have mercy on your children. Give them your grace and peace.

We have to go back to the doctor Sunday morning per doc's orders for some blood work. We'll find out if it's a false pregnancy or if our little angel in hiding is having problems. I'll make another post Sunday when we get back from the dr's office. Thank you for your prayers and support.

God Bless

UPDATE: We went to the ER yesterday morning per the doc's orders. They did the blood test to check her pregnancy level. The doctors and nurses there did a very poor job explaining anything to us and rushed us out after they told us the results of the blood test so Im still not 100% sure what's going on. The one thing they said that I did understand though is that my wife's count (no clue what this is since they wouldn't explain it to us) had gone down when it was supposed to at least double by sunday from the previous visit. The one helpful thing they did was refer us to a specialist to see tomorrow. I'll post another update tomorrow when I get home from work. Thank you everyone for praying for us and keep them coming please.

God Bless

Final Update: Unfortunately my wife miscarried. We saw the doctor today before I had to go to work. They're refering her to a neurologist to find out why she went numb the other day like she did but they want to wait until her body has adjusted to not having our future child :-( Please pray for us for the emotional strength.

Thank You and God Bless Everyone.

These things are very hard to work through, i have a cousin who went through 3 miscarries with his wife, and the pain was great. They both know the Lord, and ever time this happened the Holy Spirit was there to comfort them, to restore their spirits, and to give them h0pe again for a child one day... Side note, next time they got pregnant , his wife gave birth to twins.. He is faithful indeed.

So our prayers are with you guys, know that we love you, more importantly that God loves you ,and will be with you both ever step through this healing process.

Ericin, I can't begin to imagine the kind of pain you and your wife are in, but I will continue to lift you up in prayer. You have mine and Ashley's love and support and we hope that you will continue to share with us how we can pray for you! Sorry my friend, and I earnestly hope that God holds and sustains you during these tough times.
