Hey folks,
Yes these are my people, this is where I was born and raised. By now you should all know about the storms that went through central Florida, if not, then crawl out from under your rock. To see the level of devastation that has hit this area is a hard pill to swallow. I will also say that if these storms had hit anywhere else, it would have been a loss of life on an even greater scale. The area that got hit is VERY rural and just lots of trailer parks and what-not out there. Most of my family lives only miles from the worst part of it. Thank God they were spared. I have talked to my cousin who works for the forestry service in the area, and he believes that he actually heard one of the tornadoes. Very scary stuff. Also my grandmother, who will turn 90 this year, lives by herself and thankfully had no problems at all. So, just please keep these people in your thoughts. They are a strong and tough people, but this is just painful to see.
Thanks
