Hello all, I live in Fargo, North Dakota and would appreciate your prayers concerning the possible flooding. You may have seen us on the news. The river is supposed to crest by about Friday this week. In 1997, we had the second-highest crest in our history at 39.56 feet and thankfully the dikes and loads and loads of sandbags held. This time, a crest of 39 to 41 feet is predicted. People have been sandbagging all along the river for the last couple of weeks but there is SOOOOO much water! If the river gets to 41 feet, there's a real possibility that the city officials will just shut off the city's power because water would be covering power transformers and such.
Pray that the rain and snow would stop and that the dikes will hold. Thank you!
