I see that the server is still locked, and I realize that this is definitely a result of Elite working hard and keeping his priorities in line (ie. work and family come before ToJ as they should). I'd like to offer a helping hand in setting up MetaMod and AMX mod.
 
you guys are going amx? dum dum dum...

I had an amx mod server, and I hated it. Much more complicated than admin mod. It's good if you are going to put a lot of plugins and mods, but if you aren't, then it really isn't worth it.
 
The progress on the server is this: there is no progress being made. Why you ask? I'll tell you why.

Yes, as of today's date, AdminMod does not work (100%) with Steam, as Steam still has a lot of bugs...AdminMod Site

Hang in there...I would rather put AdminMod on, but AMXMod seems to be the most readily available at this point in time.

I can help u with it Elite. I like Admin mod better as well, and there IS a way to set it up. However, i suggest using both, to be sure

Hey guys, need a hand? Let me know. I have our 1.6 up with latest adminmod 2.50.58 and some of my own custom plugins + StatsMe 2.8.0 Beta 7 and ATAC 3.1. This is all on Linux so if I can be of help, let me know.
 
Thats the beauty of having all these helpful people here, if someone can't do it, we can find another person to help. We don't want to tie you down like you're married to ToJ or anything Elite. I support allowing Hawk to do this for us, since he so graciously volunteered and has more experience than I do.

I see more proof every day that Hawk knows everything there is to know regarding anything with wires and metal.

Oh good, I now have access to create another bittorrent seed site ;-) EASY NOW! I'm just yanking but my offer is still there. Oh, what OS you running? Ssh rocks for Linux and RDP is great for W2k/XP.
 
I know we're linux, not sure what the login style is though, probably ssh.

Friends don't let friends use telnet.
