So I just learned that some folks on the CGA Discord have not received registration emails when trying to create forum accounts. @Hescominsoon, our hosting provider, understandably does not want to risk getting blacklisted for spam and, as such, has disabled outbound mail for our server.
That means we need to switch to a different email transport method: either SMTP or Google OAuth. I didn't find much information on configuring XenForo to use OAuth, so we'd likely go with SMTP.
There are a few different free and paid services out there. Chances are good we'll end up going with Google, but would any of the tech experts in our community have a recommendation for a free or cheap SMTP relay service?
I don't anticipate the forums sending more than 10-100 emails a day maximum.
