Conclusions:
1. Scripture explicitly states that life begins no later than when blood first enters the fetus, which medical science tells us is approximately 18 days after conception. This date serves as the farthest out from conception that an unborn child can be considered lifeless Biblically.

2. However, ample Scripture supports the idea that life begins at the moment we were "knit together" in our mother's womb, i.e. the moment sperm enters egg. Ample evidence also suggests that prophets and others were known and called by God before they entered their mother's womb, indicating the preexistence of the soul prior to conception (at least for prophets, and possibly for others).

3. So, possible valid answers to the "when life begins" question include: at the first heartbeat, at conception, or before conception.

4. Because it flows so beautifully and builds on this week's topic, we'll switch things up and tackle predestination vs free will next week (Sept 28th).
