SoCal Dodgeball tourny

so i found out today my team (Deathball) is going to the OC in southern cali for a HUGE style dodgeball tourny on may tenth.

its being put on by the NDL (national dodgeball league) n there is rumors of pro scouts going to be there. (like in any pro sport scouts tell people who is good and who to hire..)

this might be a big thing for me n i'm super stoked for it.
we are competing in 4 areas:

8.5 inch, (ball size, like the movie)
stinger 5 inch (5 inch ball called the stinger cuz it sitngs like mad when you get hit by it..)
8.5 Co-ed
and stinger 5 inch Co-ed.

hehe yyeeahh. one guy throws about 80mph.

a 1 pound 8.5 inch rubber ball hitting your face at 80mph hurts very very bad..
 
yeah, professional computer gamers have existed for many years. Hundreds of players even make a living off of it.
 
so we leave tonight for this tourny. i'm super stoked still.
i had some trouble with a ride down there and a place to stay cuz my GF's dad wasnt ok with her going so i kinda got screwed with that ordeal. got everything straightened out n found a ride n a place to crash fer the night.

so we leave tonight at midnight, drive all night sleep for a few hours then PWN people.

should be fun.
 
we got owned.
it was bad. turns out their rules are compleatly diffrent from the way we normal play n we just couldnt get the hang of them quick enough.

n the refs where not real refs, they where players from a diffrent team so they where compleatly biased.
