I wish I could say this gave some indication of what was coming up in 3.0 but aside from a spoiler for the end of the new flashpoint it doesn't really give us much of a clue.

If you haven't played Makeb and Oricron expansions now might be a good time to come back to grind up to 55 before the expansion depending on play style it might take a few weeks to work through them. If you've already done them then I would wait till 3.0 is released in December. The three FP expansions which set the stage for 3.0 are short (you can work through all of them in a day if you work on it even with group finder) and can be run easily when the expansion comes out.
