Fall semester starts August 22 and I am under financial pressure to find work before then. Please pray that the Lord helps and guides me to a well-paying and satisfying job. (It takes a tremendous amount of faith for me to pray that prayer, but God has taken wonderful care of me thus far and I know He can do miracles.)
I have a few other prayer requests:
I have a few other prayer requests:
- Please pray for my wife's health.
- Please pray that the Lord would guide me and my wife to the church where He would have us attend.
- Please pray that I find some place in "real life" to bless and minister to others. I plan to spend just as much time with the Christian Gamers Alliance or Tribe of Judah, but my heart also longs for a local "outlet" to bless others as God has blessed me.
- Please pray that I and my wife make friends in our area. I moved here last August and have yet to make close friends near home.
- Please pray that the Lord grants me favor and guidance as I try to get one of my short stories published.
- Please pray that the Lord helps me continue and finish a short story I have on my heart.
- Please pray that my wife and I can visit our families and friends before the fall semester starts, provided it is God's will. Once school starts, it's unlikely I'll be able to visit Tulsa until December and I miss my friends and family there. I know that my wife misses her family as well.
