There's a web site where you can play competitive Tetris against random strangers online in a web browser. If I never do another productive thing on a computer again, you'll know why.

Aye, I know, but I don't log in to Facebook at work and I've yet to play any Facebook games. I may take the plunge eventually, but right now I don't see any reason to do so (with the possible exception of Words with Friends, which is developed by the evil Zynga and not available on any other platform).

I have the PSN/PS3 version and <3 it. (If anyone wants to play Tetris with or against me on your PS3, add me on PSN; my ID is gummyzergling.)

But Tetris Friends is awesome in a new way because I can play it at work when all my cases are finished (or on hold awaiting user input or other changes).

And Tetris Friends isn't quite the same as the PSN version, but, yes, the fundamentals are the same.

I have been thinking about also getting the ps3 version, either this or Pacman DX. I played the Pacman demo and it was fun but seemed to get too repetitive.
I think I'll get this tonight.
