Proverbs 17:27 A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered.

All too often we as a people make 'knee-jerk' reactions. We get good exercise jumping to conclusions and letting our emotions dictate how we should act. Keeping ourselves even tempered and thinking before we speak, weighing each word carefully before typing it or saying it will insure that the point we want to make is made. It will also prevent erroneous information from being passed along, and as we all know, bad information can lead to bad decisions.

Funny how many Christians who think they know the Word are are neither even-tempered nor use words with restraint. Thanks for that verse.
