Vent

OK guys and gals, I'm hoping you can help this newbie out.

I get back from vacation this weekend and wanted to start looking into getting vent. I know it would have been very useful on the last campaign I did with everybody.

However, I have no idea where to start. Is it a software program I need to purchase? Hardware? Or do I just go to a website somewhere?
