Well, there's good news, and bad news

The bad news is after much frustration with the local Sam Goody closing up and having a sale and I accidentally bought the DVD version of BF2. So we were gonna exchange it for the CD version at a different Sam Goody, but then after some confusion we discovered that the... "intellectually impaired" cashier had reserved us the expansion pack instead of the original and they (once again) were sold out of the original.

So heres the good news. instead of waiting I'm just going to sell it on this site my mom sells stuff on for the same price I got it for (35 bucks instead of 50 is a schweet deal if you ask me), and then (hopefully) I'll use the time I won't be spending on BF2 to play GW: Factions, which (hopefully (I hope alot :p) ) my sister will pay half of.

*takes a breath*

Just another day in my life. I hope to see you guys in Cantha soon!

"Sir, the mind-control worked! Not only did we use his impatience to our advantage by sabotaging the local Sam Goody, we also managed to put this idea in his head that he should buy Guild Wars instead! He shouldn't be playing BF2 for a loooooooooooong time!"
"Excellent. Now to sabotage those wishing to buy World of Warcraft. Ready my fleet of spy-bombers!"

lol CS. So many of the people Mirawyn and I know who used to play Guild Wars are now playing WoW in stead...too bad the sabotage couldn't have taken place a little sooner! :rolleyes:

I've converted a heavy WoWer to guild wars.
well.. okay, he was fed up with WoW.

once his Factions package arrives, I'm gonna try to coerce him into the guild.

The sad part is that none of them can really afford it...not our best friends (who have three GW accounts, but now share one WoW account) or our friends at church, who have two GW accounts and two WoW accounts! You're talking around $150 a year, per account, just for subscription fees...
