Just to let everyone know. In conjuction with the new dkp system coming out and new content, we are going to be wiping vet status from everyone along with dkp. We are going to have everyone re-earn vet status. This will help update those people that are playing and actually meet requirements. We will add more to the vet status docks to include everything but the only change really will be that people will be not only be rated on gear, but Performance (people playing thier class and willing to listen to instructions from raid leaders and class leaders), Attitude (raid chat, how you treat others, willingness to help others), and coming prepared to the raid (having food, buff mats, repaired, etc). Vet status will not be a permanent ranking. It will be earned and kept each week not just given and left at that. Vet status is a privledge not a right just because you have gear. We want people to come and raid and enjoy thierselves without having to worry about 1 or 2 people that just kinda want to come and coast without performing or people that have gear yet have a bad attitude and bring others down in the raid.
I don't want this to sound like we are going to be hard core. We are NOT, but we do want people to come to the raid prepared and perform so we can progress. We don't want a couple people coming that don't perform and bring the raid down for the others that want to do good and progress. It is very frustrating for most of the people in the raid when there's a couple people not wanting to try.
There are a few things we still need to discuss to make things work but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up before this happens.
BTW...If people are having problems not performing in raids, not only do I encourage them to ask thier class leaders, please ask someone else of thier class they think performs well to help improve thier character. If either one of those aren't available, please talk with myself or any of the Activity Leaders so they can help you or at least get you in touch with someone that can. We want everyone to be a vet and raid all the time. We don't want people being left out because of performance.
