I went Holy about a week before the nerf, so I dont have a strong reference. But so far I can heal just fine with 8800 mana and 940 to heal.

Not sure on the radius, but our threat is based on holy damage. consecrate makes holy damage. Thats why pallys are such good AOE tanks.

Well if that is true I Blizz needs to give Pallys more ways to obtain avoidance and some migration. I get crushed in the Shattered Halls. Then agian it might be my gear??? I don't have the best. My wife plays a resto shammie. Good healers with earth shield and chain heal. Not as good with...

I haven't had a chance to heal for a while, I keep ending up MT. I did change my gear. Went from 800 plus heal to about 650. And went from 5K mana to almost 8K mana. MP5 is about 85. I never really focused on spell crit so the nerf wont be as bad for me. But like I said I have not had a chance...

Druid need allot of armor. They don't have block or parry.

So i will look into some more intellect gear and maybe see if I can get some enchants on some gear as well. thanks -Erik

I mostly tank, but of course I heal as well. My questions is this, I have sought out plus heal gear instead of intellect gear. So I have 825 bonus healing but only 5535 mana. Is their a balance? BTW this if you look at my Armory, I logged out waring my healing gear. -Ziff

Im still running Surv. With scatter shot, wyvern sting, clever/entrapment traps I can hold several mobs from 4-40 seconds. And with Deterrence/counter attack I can protect the clothies until the tank can get to them. Yes my damage suffers, but keeping the group alive is much appreciated.

Here is mine. 0/30/31. I like it so far. Nice for CC and survivability. I do miss so of the "big" crits. I was BM up to level 68 or so. It seems pets are less useful in the harder instances. So I went MM to do more damage. But with an other hunter in the group we where kinda gimped so I went...

Just an update. I'm now level 50. staying with the Protection build and really liking it. Kinda fun to run into the mobs.
