No, it's not a joke, but it is a funny idea.

If I understand it right Mesmers can have 3 illusions/clones out at a time and if they use their WBS elite they get another 2 units.

So that takes them up to 48

That should be enough to clear out some baddies.

I believe Norn Rangers can have hyena (summons other hyenas), summon wurm, summon owl, and Summon Mistfire Wolf (summons other wolves) which is about 8 pets.

I don't think that's as many pets as your mesmers, but it'd be fun to get a few rangers, mesmers, and necros together and literally make a zerg!

Asura do have golem elites.

Now that I think about it, humans have the 2 Hounds of Balthazar Elite too.

I think I see some really cool options ahead of us in WvW.

I was just thinking about that Elhanan. So far we haven't seen WvW with elites yet. I wonder if adding elites will change the flavor of WvW and to what degree.
