See, I was this close to buying Factions. *holds up fingers to demonstrate JUST HOW CLOSE* Thing was, Wal-mart was sold out. Remember how I vowed not to buy BF2? Well, I ditched that vow. Heh. I'll be on BF2 for a while now, sorry for the mutiny :rolleyes:

(btw I bought the right version this time :D )

I prefer FPSs sometimes.

Anyway...

I bought BF2 last night (Friday) and installed. I tried to run it, but as soon as the intro video is done and I come to the "Play single player on EASY/Play Online" main screen the game freezes, I can't move the cursor, it locks up, and the desktop pops up and says the graphics card isn't responding or something. I updated the game with the latest patch but this has done nothing. HELP!!!

Should have got Factions.... :p

Are your system specs up to snuff for BF2?
Are your graphics card drivers up to date?
 
see what hapens when you break your word and make all of us laugh at you for buying bf2, which is the buggiest game ive seen (besides bet on soldier: computer crash guaranteed every 15 minutes)

btw keep in mind I bought it last year, but I'm not spending yet another 100+ dollars for a problem I've never had anywhere else on one game
