Author of unsuccessful violent game law Leland Yee criticizes gamers and industry at large in wake of deadly Connecticut shooting.
"Gamers have got to just quiet down," Yee said. "Gamers have no credibility in this argument. This is all about their lust for violence and the industry's lust for money. This is a billion-dollar industry. This is about their self-interest."

I have a quote of my own!

Politicans have got to just quiet down...Politicians have no credibility in this argument. This is all about their lust for power and the industry's lust for money. This is a trillion-dollar industry. This is about their self-interest.

Oh by the way, I can look out for my own self interest. I don't need the government telling me what is and isn't good for me.

Normally I refuse to go to Gamespot after the Jeff Gerstmann incident, but this story caught my eye so I decided to check it out.

small side note, Jeff is back and the bosses that fired him are gone...You can return to your first love Gamestop.

The thing that annoys me is the fact that its always the game industrys fault for everything but they don't blame the porn industry for rape and other sex related crimes. its kinda ridicules

I've been thinking about all kinds of stuff while I truck around. Every social problem I think about always comes back to sin and our sin nature.

I wish these people would do some form of work (preferably ask for research from a credible 3rd party or equivalent institution) before presenting their ridiculous legislation. It's as if they're playing pin the tail on the donkey with no regard to the repercussions their "fixes" create.

You're expecting an awful lot for them to be rational and reasonable.
