Gaming Laptop

I've heard Vista really isn't all that bad anymore, unless it's one of the cheaper versions. Which is usually the case.

Hi All,

My wife has kindly agreed to get me a new laptop for my birthday. Here is the specs and the price I am looking to pay. I know very little about mobile GPUs or CPUs so would appreciate an indication if this is good or not (VB and HCS Im looking at you).

Thanks

vista's not bad if you only run brand new software outside of a serious lan environment. However your video chip is one of many nvidia products with defect issues:

Get a different laptop with a mobile ATI graphics chip.

there's only three versions worth anything:
home users..get home premium
business users get business
home and business users that want to spend waaaay too much money for not many benefits..ultimate.
