I just keep mine at 100 and it stays steady except smoke nades, but flash you have a better graphics card than i do so you probably stay steady in smoke nades.

yeup stands up to 4-7 smokes and 70-100 fps. anything more it starts to decline. Althought it never went down more then 30. I had like 70 smoke nades once and it was 34 average. it was fun

i couldn't find my way out of the smoke fog.
 
wow, i tossed like 10 in a courner and went in and got 7fps

 With an average of 1 smoke nades i get about 45fps, good enough for me.

I tested that on just a new game on LAN.  I never use nades of any kind when in a pub or toj.

I Have have the G-force4 graphics card,and im going to upgrad it too.
To G-Force 6800 ultra.
And I might sall my G-Force 4 for some money. I havent desided yet.

Well I have a config I got from a friend in Nerve that gives me no fps drop in smokes. It also helps your aim some way (makes your ppl more visiable and the walls look kinda crappy).
 
Ok one more question? I should be getting more fps on source now to. But iam not. Guys with weaker cards still pull tons more fps then me.

the peoples on ther source server say i should be getting over 100 fps considering some of the guys get 120 fps. I guess i dont mind right now. But I will when i start playing cs2. Can anyone give me some advice. Remembering that my regular cs fps already went up to 100.
 
Your eyes wont even notice anything over about 75 FPS.... and your FPS cannot go over your refresh rate.. well it can but your monitor will still only display your refresh rate. So If you have 100 FPS and your refresh rate is set to 60, you will only see 60.

I get 90 to 100fps

I have a
Radeon 7500
1.30GHZ
256mb ram

Although I get that much fps I always lag alot though. I can't wait untill Christmas, then I"m gonna get a top of the line machine

CS plays at 100 FPS always because I set it to max at that number.
 
thats it iam getting the x800ultra mega super omega alpha. iam to get a new computer, 250gb hardrive 1gb ddr2 and intel4 3.4Mhz. will that run the new cards to there fullest?
 
so you guys all have really good cards and get average fps that I get? thats kidna sad really, look my card is very old, and not really even supported anymore and it runs just as good as your new cards.

i get 100 fps on cs with a geforce4 mx 64mb. who needs a xtpro ultra niner delta whatever there called cards when the 5 year old one runs just like they do!
