Sadly valve has about made L4D gameplay into W+M2.

It means:
A) Tek is used to W+M1 as Pyro
B) L4D 1 requires W+M2 for shoving zombies since there is no fatigue meter to prevent that
C) I need a poptart
D) Tek is doing it wrong and should L2P if he wants to elbow zombies in the coming apocalypse

Perhaps if the zombies had poptarts then they'd be nicer.

Unfortunately they don't make brain poptarts. Even then the calories would be prohibitive.
While I admit my fondness for the W+M1 Pyro, I do a little more than just run forward with my flamethrower at full blast.
...Not when it comes to Scouts, though. Seriously, I chase after Scouts like dogs chase after squirrels.

I don't think they ever added shove fatigue in L4D1 Campaign mode, but it's definitely in L4D1 Versus...which I haven't played in months.
Eat healthy snacks. Like grilled Scou--err, squirrel.
In a real zombie apocalypse, the zombies would just latch on to your elbow and bite your arm. Then you're infected and elbow shoves are no longer a concern.
