I apologize for the server crashing right after I left the game, it wasn't on my direct account. Tek and I put in a server down support ticket as our server was acting up again and the support team was fixing the problems which crashed our server with people in it. Below is the posting from the support ticket.
"I apologize for the delay here. I found two running instances of your server on the machine that hosts you. The older instance(bound to 27015) was running in crash loop. This is what was printing information to the log file. The second instance(which was running fine) was bound to port 27016. Unfortunately, the only method of correcting this issue was to kill both instances and issue a restart. The server was populated and I do apologize for the restart with no notice but it was the only way of correcting the issue."
So, at least we do know why the server crashed.
