With custom ports of other L4D1 campaigns as custom L4D2 campaigns and with Valve releasing No Mercy for L4D2, I don't think there's a reason to spend cash money on L4D1 any more.

I had a change of heart and got L4D2 in the last 15 minutes of the sale. Problem is that I'm still very unlikely to have time to play in our scheduled events. But hey, now I at least have the possibility of joining when someone invites me to a game.
