I like the point of view from HSC's blog, but for me personally I think Frame rates are an important factor because from CS experience if my FPS fluctuates alot, it makes it nearly impossible to play consistantly, and price is a huge matter also for me. Also, i believe 7800 series do Not support SLI yet.

wow type o in the faq LOL they fixed it.

being competitive in CS means i need constant 100 fps to maintain my game going. It can't notice much difference if its the same constant, but it can notice fluctuation. Plus lower fps means changes in recoil control and + many other things.
