9“ The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
The heart and the mind encompass human emotion and together cover the hidden elements in a persons character and personality. But thank God for what he tells us after.
10 I, the LORD, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.
He tests our hearts and minds! He knows us more than we can ever know ourselves and no matter how much we try to bury our decisions or justify our lack of actions God is there and knows the deepest parts of our hearts and minds. Lets pray Psalms 139: 23-24 today.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
Thank you God for desiring to look inside me and make me a better.
