Steam on Linux

I have a laptop with Linux Mint. I recently installed Steam on it. Is anyone gaming through Steam on Linux?

My Laptop is a core i3 with Intel integrated graphics... Any suggestions for games that will run well on such hardware?

i3 with integrated graphics? Probably not much, unfortunately. :(

Do you know which generation of Intel HD Graphics your processor includes?

Was afraid of that... All I can find about graphics chip is that its Intel GMA HD. CPU is Intel®
Core i3-380M Processor 2.53 GHz, 3MB Cache.

It runs Half-Life2. TF2 had bad FPS. Dungeon Defenders was unplayable, think there was a bug.

The hardware on it is pretty lame... But it has a solid state drive. It was a broken laptop that my wife's employer was throwing away and I fixed :).

It will run Halflife 2 and Portal on steam OK. My old UT2004 disk had a Linux installer and that installed and runs good. If you want to make some Pancakes some time Tek let me know :)

I still have my Windows 8.1 laptop for the rest of my games, I'm just liking Linux Mint for something different.

I <3 UT2004.

If/when you see me on, send me an invite and, if I'm where I can, I'll join in.

I'll be sure to do the same when I see you on and I'm lookin' to PANCAKE!
