on to something new...
Something to think and pray about...:)

Nothing particular, just a thought...:)

There once was a Pastor who had to come up with a message about a very uncomfortable subject.
He did his best to come at the topic from every angle.
Finally he prayed for God to give him a revelation that he has never seen before on the topic.
That night in a dream, he saw exactly how the topic looked in the eyes of God, and understood where God wanted to go with the message.
On Sunday he got up behind the pulpit and began.
He first apologized to his congregation for what he was about to do.
He told them all about the topic, and the congregation was uncomfortable in the pews and squirmed in their seats.
He came to the end of his sermon, and dismissed the body.
As the families and members left, he looked up and saw a young girl sitting on the front row.
She stood up and walked to the Pastor.
She put her hand on this shoulder and told him that the issue wasn't a big deal and that all the others would realize the fact as well, in time.
The Pastor smiled at the little girl, and explained that regardless of what they thought, they still heard what God thought about the subject as well.
She smiled and told the Pastor, that in just a short time the congregation would soon forget the sermon, and they'll fell better real soon.
She turned and walked away, and the Pastor lowered his head, and a tear formed in his eye.
He prayed again to God, asked asked Him why would the congregation do such a thing.
God smiled and explained that they heard with their ears, but they did not see with His eyes.
The Pastor asked God why his sermon did not help them see the topic God's way.
God smiled, touched the Pastor and encouraged him, as He explained that the congregation has to WANT to have Godly eyes.
Only then would they see how God saw the issue, not before.
The Pastor took comfort in the presence and words of God, and left the church.

You can take ANY topic/issue/subject and place it in this story. Yet as you do, examine how you har things, and how you see things as well.
Pray that God will give you His vision on ANY thing that you might face.
He promised He'd never leave us or forsake us, make sure we're not doing the same thing to Him.

Left up a sacrafice of praise to the Most High God.
And may His hand never leave our shoulders as He gives us His guidance.
PRAISE BE TO THE FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT!!!
:D

Nicely done Pastor. Guess thats why you have that position in GFC. Thanks for the thoughts. And you had better not have been doing it at 2:30am!!! THough doesn't it seem that at those late hours, God allows us to see things more clearly at times?
Something else to think about.......

p.s. I think that God shares these great lessons at these times because we are usually asleep and He can get a Word in.

Why do you have to type so much?!?! I hate reading XD

====EDIT====
