Our first event will be held on 25 August, at 7:00pm Server Time.
We will be taking a tour of the outlands. As gnomes. As gnome mages. As level one (1) gnome mages. What!? Are you nuts? Well, yes, I am, but that's beside the point. But don't worry, every level one gnome will have an escort to keep them safe from the big bad monsters of the Outlands. The gnomes will race from Shattrath to an undisclosed location within Outlands. First gnome there, wins. Second gnome there, wins. Third gnome there- well, you get the idea. This is supposed to be a fun social event, not a competative race with uber prizes at the end. Anyone who actually completes the run will have bragging rights. Sheri will be making a video and we encourage lots of screenshots from participants. We also encourge everyone to log into Teamspeak so we can laugh at you- I mean, each other.
Although this is a "fun run," certain rules will apply. The official observers won't be able to ensure everyone follows the rules, so we will be relying on your Christian integrity.
For ease of typing, "gnome" refers to the level one toon participating in the event. The "team" refers to the gnome and its escort.
Rules:
1. The gnome will be a mage.
2. The gnome must run the entire length of the course. No warlock summoning, etc.
3. No rezzing at the graveyard. However, classes that can rez may rez their gnome where it died.
4. No buffing the gnome. Examples include, but not limited to: Hunter speed, healer bubbles, Mark of the Wild, Fortification, etc. EXECEPTION: The passive buffs from Warlock pets are allowed, but ONLY the passive buffs that are active when the pet is out (Blood Pact, etc).
5. Officials (Shuranda and I) will randomly partner a gnome and escort.
6. Gnomes must sign on thirty (30) minutes prior to the event so I can port them to Shatt.

1. Do you have a level 68+ toon that can escort a gnome?
2. Do you have room on your account to make a gnome? (Limit of 10, I believe)
