The Forgiven Gnome Roam - Social Event, Part the First

1. Do you have a level 68+ toon that can escort a gnome? No. *cries*

2. Do you have room on your account to make a gnome? (Limit of 10, I believe) Yes.

3. Do you believe that the gnome run should include an extensive tour of Gruul's Lair and Serpentshrine Caverns? Ahhhh, YEAH!

4. Would you rather be a gnome or escort? (NOTE: No guarantees you'll get it) gnome, not that I have a choice... XD
 
Sadly I won't be able to attend either... I won't be able to be online until later tonight. Have fun though! :)
 
The Great Gnome Roam was a resounding success! We had about 8 teams participate. Chaos, death, and destruction was everywhere- and that was just the gnomes. Shuranda will be posting pictures and Sheri will have a video ready soon.

Congrats to the first teams across the finish line:
1st: Scott and Adam
2nd: Mike F. and Holly
3rd: Conner and Austin

And to Brelan for being the best dressed gnome of the night!
 
WHAT! Outrageous, most bias thing I have heard today! After Scott's most generous gift of a mage dress, I was definitely looking *sweet*
 
Sheri has a lot of video footage to compile. Last I saw, the video is just under 3 minutes in length, and looking very cool. All but the part with some pesky gnome named Getnthumped always sticking his head in the pictures. *grin*

The soundtrack is pretty cool so far too.. We've got some ideas for music to put in other places, but we'll have to buy a few songs to do it. (I mean seriously, why else would one of us have Aretha Franklin's "Respect"?) Whaat? you want to know how we're working that in? You'll just have to wait and see!

On a more serious note - if anyone else has video footage of the event, let me know. I may be interested in getting it from you. It's always neat to see other perspectives.

You missed the first event, but it sounds like Kirk is planning several different events. Hopefully you'll be able to attend the next one. And you don't need to be 70 to do these - most of the areas you'll go into you can do at 67-68. It'll be tough, but possible.

Only thing I was not sure about was he escort part, because we weren't really escorts, just witnesses to the carnage of gnome death :D

And the winner, ahem, seemed to ignore the fact that he had an escort...

I think the next one, everyone should be a level one whatever :)
 
Huh? What is all this talk about escorts? Wasn't it a race between "us" level 1 gnomes and those nasty nasty "70s"? We showed them!
 
LoL video is coming! This is the first time I've created one and I'm finding it to be tougher than I imagined! I have the first part done and the end, I just need to fill in much gnome death in the middle.

Hmm, someone muttered in passing yesterday that a GM "cheated" to beat my lowly Gnome. Any more information that is willing to be confessed out there?
