I received one of those sappy, almost dorky emails - the kind that tell you to pass it on to ten people you are praying for - the kind you normally dump without reading through once you realize what it is. It had an interesting plot line. I'm not one for numerology of any kind related to the Bible, but this was kind of cute.

What is the shortest chapter in the Bible - Psalm 117.
What is the longest chapter in the Bible - Psalm 119.
Between those two chapters is - Psalm 118.
What is the middle chapter in the Bible - Psalm 118 - 1188 chapters before it and 1188 chapters after it.
1188 - 118:8 - What does Psalm 118:8 say:

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man. Psalm 118:8 (NIV)

I liked the sentiment - right in the middle of the Bible.

I stand corrected - one reason I don't hold to all the numerology stuff about the Bible. Still fun though - I enjoyed it. The verse is a great one.
