Hey all,
I've used this trick forever and it's not well known so I thought I'd randomly share...
You can make a hotkey that will show you how many of a given item you have. This is handy if you're farming items for faction or whatnot that don't show up in a quest tracker.
Here's how:
1) make a macro and select the question mark as its icon
2) set the macro to:
#show
/use Winterfall Spirit Beads (for example)
3) Drag the macro to an action bar
The icon will remain a question mark until you have at least one of the items you're collecting. But then it will show you the icon for the item and the total count of those items you have in your bags.
If you want to track multiple items, just make duplicate macros with different names.
