Well i've battled the log in issue for 2 months now and now it's fixed. It wouldn't save my profile.
I had both my Retail version of UT3 (boxed) and my Steam UT3 (purchased through Steam)
installed. Upon the advice of Capt'n i uninstalled the retail version. This didn't fix my issue. So I done a backup of UT3 through Steam and uninstalled the Steam version. I done a complete pc shutdown, fired it back up and installed the Steam version only.
Still the issue was there but I had to try something right or wrong.
So today i searched the Documents folder:
path-- Documents-My Games- Unreal Tournament 3- UTGame- Config..
now all the config files in it i removed into a new folder named Old ConfigFiles which left the Config folder completely empty.
I restarted Steam and it fixed my problem.
ToJ|ColdSteel is my name in UT3 because of the other login issue with Steam and GameSpy account being intertwined.
