Nobody ever promised life would be easy or fair. Nobody ever said that being a Christian would make our troubles go away.
We were promised that as Christians, we ultimately know that all the struggles in this life are temporary and when we cross to the "other side," we meet Jesus, who has defeated death, who has overcome adversity, who is there to comfort us.
All our struggles and troubles in this life are temporary, and we can hold on to the hope that something (someOne) better awaits.
