Who besides me is interested in PVP

World: definitely
Structured: ...meh, maybe.

If any MMO could turn me on to spvp it would be one like GW2, but I'm holding off any excitement for it. I did like JQ, if they do something like that it would be cool. :)

While I might be interested to see how it turns out... I'm going to be spending the bulk of my time in pve.

I'm not a huge fan of PvP. If the structured PvP is like Fort Aspenwood, then I'm definitely interested. I loved Fort Aspenwood.

Most other PvP in other games have left me feeling like "no thanks." I avoided WoW PvP as much as possible. It wasn't fun for me.

Worldvs.Worldvs.World sounds interesting. Haven't tried it yet. But I plan to try it to see what its like.
 
Good to see people interested, I hope to see you all in-game. Hopefully we will have enough interest to keep a 5 man team going for sPVP and WvW.
 
I do plan on being a familiar face in PvP. Both structured and WvWvW. I am hoping LoE can have a couple teams for both types of PvP and we can get weekly nights going for it.

However I probably will stick with PvE for the first several months, at least for the majority of my play time, what little I will have until January.
 
In WvWvW, can we form "teams" or is it simply log in and play without knowing who else is around?
 
Both, we can forms teams from our guild so we are better coordinated, or you can just hop in and join the swarm.
 
You can form squads but its pretty expensive to become a commander. 3 Gold I think. I'm not sure how long a Commander's Compendium last. It
may be permanent if so 3g's isn't too bad, but if it deactivates after leaving WvW that would be pretty rough.

I'm pretty sure you only have to use a Compendium once. The ability to become a commander is then permanently unlocked for that character.

Aside from becoming a Commander and forming a Squad, it's still possible to form a five character Group in WvW, isn't it?

Yes you can but you will be limited.

Forming a squad gives you a couple more options. (i.e. more people, placing way points.)

As far as using the CC goes, you are correct. It's a one use deal per character.
