Well since RDF is still down and being worked on I thought I would post here about my topic.
When RDF is back up and running if they like they can put this topic in there.

The Day of Atonement is for Jews a day of national penitence and mourning.
It was a day of fasting and no working whatsoever.
It was held on the tenth day of the seventh month and was the only day that the high priest would go into the Holy of Holies.
The high priest confessed the sins of the community, and entered into the Most Holy of Holies with the blood offering to make atonement for the people [Lev.23:26-32].
The word atonement means to cover, cancel.
Atonement produces reconsiliation.
In the bible it means the covering of man's sins through the shedding of blood.
Atonement came from the blood of sacrificed animals in the OT.

Lol For some reason I love that word "atonement".
Probably because I love Jesus. Lol

The atonement we have as Christians comes from the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:25 says "God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood.

Unlike the OT sacrifices our Lord Jesus Christ's blood atones for ever in the Holy of Holies in heaven.
His precious blood covers over all my sins and cancels them out forever.

Ahhhh the Precious Blood of Jesus is what my faith is in and because of the blood of Jesus I am reconciled To God.
Thank You Lord for Your precious blood that cleanses me from all unrighteousness.:D

P.S. See below on more about the blood that gives us life eternal.:)And remember there is Life in the Blood of Jesus.
