Youtube notice (please read)

Just saw on the news that youtube is going to start charging $1-5 a month

This will hurt me a bit cause i get my guitar lessons and tips from there as well as my bi-weekly teacher
 
I don't know what/where you were reading.

Rumor has it that youtube could start charging for specific channels. From $1-$5 for those specific channels.

All rumor though. Nothing official.
 
Neither of those links say anything official. Discussion and consideration != they are officially going to start charging.

Google is officially considering the idea... :)

This is the problem with modern "news". Often times it's not even the fault of a local station, though, because things get so messed up before they hear them it's hard to report.

If Google is publically admitting it's being consider, then what that really means is that it's been considered for a long time, there is an actual plan in place, and this is being lobbed out there just to see how bad the outcry is/soften the blow when it's official.
