  1. Please be sure to grab quests on the small island chain off the NW corner of STV ahead of time.
  2. Be sure to have all your equipment repaired before heading out. I don't think we will have the luxury of a feild repair bot, so if you have a second set of equipment, bring it.
  3. Make sure to have plenty of any regeants you may need before heading out.
=== LOOT ===

We will not be using DKP for the first few runs. I will keep track of attendance so that if in the future we need to run a DKP system, we can allocate points to everybody.

We will start off trying the one item per run per person system. In a nutshell, this means that nobody should be walking out of ZG with two awesome items in a single run unless everybody agrees to it. Share the wealth and have fun.

Coins: All the quests require that you collect coins to hand in and for gaining faction. We all will need them. Knowing this, we will all roll Need (dice onthe pop up window) on the coins. When you win a coin, you will switch to rolling Greed (gold coin on the pop up window) until everybody in the raid has won a coin.

Green Bind on Equiped (BoE) drops: All roll need. If the item is an immediate upgrade for somebody, please trade the item. The person receiving the item, please equip it right away.

Blue Bind on Pickup and Equip (BoP and BoE) drops: If a trash mob drops a Blue BoP or BoE, if it is not an immediate upgrade, pass. If it is an immediate upgrade, roll Need, this will count as your item for the run. If everybody passes, the item will be disenchanted into a shard. I will /random 1-20. The person with the corresponding number in the raid will receive the shard. (Group 1 = 1 through 5, group 2 = 6 through 10, group 3 = 11 through 15 and group 4 = 16 through 20).

Purple (Epic) Drops: If a trash mob drops an Epic item, we will follow the same rules as for blue. If you win an epic item (whether through greed or need) do not expect any more loot from the run, including class sets, this will count as your item for the run.

Class set Item Drops: Class set items in ZG are already class determined by blizzard. Only priests can use preist set items. Should a class set item drop from a trash mob, only those allowed to use said items will roll on them. This will count as your item for the run.

Boss Drops: Before starting a boss fight, I will be switching to master looter. Class set items will be rolled on by those specific classes who have not already taken an item from the run. Boss drops that are not class specific will be rolled on by those who would make the best use of an item. For example, while there are many classes that can use daggers, daggers that are slow with high strength\agi\stamina\attack power stats are better put to use by melee versus casters.

Trash mobs for the most part do drop money, often enough for a few silver each per kill.

=== RUN GOALS ===

We are going to attempt the High Preistess Jeklik. She is the first boss in the instance. Her event includes summoning many other gargoyle\bat type beasts. AoE from mages\warlocks and hunters will come in handy to deal with them.

Some of the trash mobs specifically target back of the line support staff (ie, priests) and attack with a stationary whirlwind attack. Some trash mobs have knock back effect which can effectively take people right out of battle.

We will allow our tanks to generate enough hate before engaging DPS or will will be facing many wipes.

The run will end at the first of the following:
  1. 4 hours from 8pm Eastern (Midnight Eastern)
  2. 3 wipes at the boss
  3. Taking the boss down.
I understand and appreciate this is a school and work night. Thus we will not spend anymore time then necessary on this run.

=== more info to come.

Priests \ Druids \ Paladins \ Mages be sure to have downloaded and installed Decursive to the interface\addons folder in your world of warcraft folder.

Create a new macro from the main, in game menu (press esc to bring up the menu, select macros).

Select New, give it a name (Decursive), select an icon, in the text portion of the macro area put in /decursive Select complete. Drag the icon from the list above the text to an empty action bar slot. To test it, press the action icon, you should see in the general chat window something to the effect of: Nothing was cleansed.

Now, everytime you see a debuff (curse, magic, poison, disease) on a person, clicking the icon will attempt to clean it, If you can cleanse it, it will let you know that you have cleansed them. If you can't, it will let you know nothing was cleansed.

FYI decursive can be bound to a key you dont need a macro go to your keybindings and scroll all the way down
