I've been wanting to go to Penny Arcade's PAX convention for a few years now, but never really seriously looked into buying a ticket, getting over to the west coast for a weekend, etc.

This year I actually got as serious about it as I've ever gotten (looked at flight prices) but still didn't go 'cuz I had no vacation time left.

So...next year I might be even more serious, and will actually buy said plane tickets. (provided they actually do another one, which isn't really in doubt me thinks, seeing as this year's was so successful)

Anybody else in the ToJ interested in going and meeting up?

Nothing's been announced just yet, *this* year's just finished (http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/), so it will be several months until anything gets going on the next one.

This year's was in Seattle, downtown, and I think all previous one's were thrown during the month of august. Entry was super cheap ($40-$50 USD for the weekend, depending on when you register).

Even if I save up for the entry fee, I doubt I'll be able to afford tickets to Seattle by next year. If I have that kind of money, it should go toward paying off the horrible student loan debt that my wife and I have accumulated during our college years.
