Well I guess if all I had to play was Pong and Q-Bert I would either return to FPS Gaming or go insane...er.

But yes, TF2 is a blast. On the downside, there's no grenades. On the upsite, there's...no grenades. No grenades means no spamfests, which, unfortunately, was one of the trademarks of TFC (TeamFortress Classic).
I would like to see more game modes (Fortress Forever already includes a re-make of Push, one of my favorite TFC maps ever), but I suppose we should give Valve some time to polish and add to the game.
After all, TF2 has only been in the works for nine years. GRR.

So, yes, I have a love/hate relationship with TF2. But I'd still recommend it to others, so long as can (a) try it for yourself first or (b) plan to buy Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and Portal anyway.
