Sometimes my job is crazy!

Hello again from from parts unknown! I still miss you all and look foreward to seeing you all online again, however it looks as though I won't be comeing home in 2 weeks as expected. Naturally I can't tell you the details, but it appears that I'll be gone for another month and a half now.

Things are getting ugly all around the globe and there are a lot of bad people to choose from to set our sights on, I suppose its the nature of the beast.

I've never liked what my job represents but I do feel it's important to do, even though it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I try to keep a possitive outlook and remind myself that I do the things I do so that others can sleep safely through the night. A noble thought indeed.

Sorry for venting :D Just giveing you a little insight into the mind of Cait. Anyway, I hope this finds you all doing well and you are all in my prayers.

Know that you can sleep soundly. The boys and I would die to protect you.

You hold a special place in my thoughts as your name 'Caitlyn' reminds me of my youngest son's first favorite girls name because he had a 'secret' girl friend named Caitlynne. God be with you and your buds out there.

I thank you all for the support, it means a lot to us because of the "stigma" surrounding what we do. Sometimes it's hard not to get lost spiritually along a path of what some deem as "required evil deeds to keep the peace." But alas we are pretty good at what we do and I'm not overly concerned with our personal safety. We've been training hard and I think we are fast becomeing a well oiled machine.

Theres a movie that I think best describes the mind set of someone that does this job just one too many days. It's called Man on Fire. A powerful movie indeed, but I don't want to be that guy... So thats why I realy do appreciate your support. More than words can show here, so a big hug from me to you all! :D

Oh, and Mouse, I chose Caitlyn because it's my 12 year old sister's name. She wanted me to make her an alter ego. I didn't meet her untill she was nine and she stole my heart at once. ;)

And yes Goblit, we are in fact invadeing Canada. We've determined that Mounties on horseback are indeed a threat to our tanks. The Polish and the Afganies did well to show Russia that. :D
 
Don't believe everything that the press says about our support of you guys out there. There are many of us that believe in your mission and everything you represent. If it wasn't for a bum shoulder, I might be there beside you. You, and all who fight for our country, are nothing less then true heroes. We love you all.

or here...you are a member of but a handful of people that have been blessed with a mental and physical fortitude far beyond what many comprehend, much less possess. thank you for your incredibly important and valuable service and for keeping our bacon safe :)
 
I think its funny we are talking about Canadian bacon and invading Canada. I really really do. I wonder if this is how alot of movie plots are formed?
