Well, I've come up with an idea so everyone brace yourselves.

Its been at least a month since I was promoted to Raid Leader and have yet to officially lead a guild run. I've been told that I am in charge of running the runs that are currently on the PuG'able list.

Considering that most people are: a) getting these out of the way early on in the week, b) past the point of needing gear in these raids, or c) just don't do them, I am going to try a little something.

This Saturday, I will be leading a 10 man run thru OS, Naxx, and possibly Vault (if its avail at the time). I want to cater to the people who are just hitting 80 and need gear, obviously. HOWEVER, I really want to pull those of us who are a little more "experienced" into this raid so that we can use this time to perfect our own skills as well as teach others how to become better (spell rotations, strat, reacting correctly, etc).

I want this to be more about coming together and having fun, rather than going for the leet gear. If thats what its about, then its sure to not have a big turnout. I think we can truly have a lot of fun! And if we do the runs as intended, I see us knocking out some achievements as well ;). I will base our first turnout as to whether I am going to make it a Full Guild run no matter what, or if I am going to PuG people into it as necessary. I hope to see a full 10 Redeemed people on Sat! (sorry for the length, but if you've seen any of my other posts....at least you've been Prep'd).

Awesome Angry! I'll add it to the calendar :-) I'm pretty sure that is the night Avesther and I are meeting friends at a yummy steakhouse, so everyone come out and have fun!

I'll support you anyway I can. If you need me to help get the groups started (ie...need the healer) great, you can then actively look for those new healers to replace me as the night goes on.

And this saturday night, Gobby and I are going to Smugglers Inn for dinner. nom nom nom nom
 
I think you've got a great idea Angry - I remember in BC when I hit 70 about a year after everyone - it was such a pain trying to catch up! I'm sure this will facilitate some more raid alts as well.
 
i'm having birthday dinner that night for the GF so i wont be able to make it.

if it becomes a daily thing tho i'm interested!

gonna try and do it on a weekly basis planned around the nostalgia raids. we'll see how popular it is and make plans accordingly.
