MX518... I will miss thee.

[Odale]

So my long-lived MX518's scrolling wheel is dead.

I just found this though.

What are y'alls thoughts?

This thing looks crazy, but PC Gamer gave it huge reviews...

Same mouse, cheaper: $65.99 after mail-in rebate

Offer expires 11/15/10

If mine was broken, I'd still stick with the MX518. (Unless if Razer is cheaper)

[silverleaf]

hmm I'd go wired if I were you, if you're after a high end mouse.

[Odale]

The G700 comes with a wire you can plug it in with, though.

[ewoksrule]

same mouse even cheaper....
use BFKYMS coupon at newegg and get it for $53

I did that and it only good it down $12.

[ewoksrule]

which stacks with the MIR

I'd just get another MX518 or live without the mousewheel.

But hey, that's me. I'm a frugal dude.

Bummer on the timing, though. Newegg had the MX518 for $18 shipped after coupon code and rebate back in July.
