ilvl 329 = not ready for heroics, and other Help!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to give everyone a sort of heads up on the heroic scene in cataclysm...

In order to queue up you need an ilvl 329, but really and truely you want a min of 336 before you will not want to /ragequit after many attempts on the same boss.

I am free to help heal any dungeon that's non heroic or to dps anything ya'll might need. I recommend focussing on running 84-85 dungeons and rep farming for the gear you need. The rep gear is ilvl 346 and its sweeeeeet.

Currently a heroic takes between 1.5-3 hours to complete if you complete at all. Keep that in mind before Queueing

I can also cut green gems for your gear to help and will do so at no cost to you. If I have the cut, its yours. Blues will be cut at only the cost of the gem, if I have one I will give it to you at Half the going rate. If you have the blue gem, the cut is free!

I, as well as a couple of us who are starting to get better geared want to create an atmosphere of fun and not frustration for everyone so we can start to get some of these heroics on farm status.

Anything you need, any questions you may have on bosses, I can help and answer them all, only dungeons I do not know are Throne of the Tides and Black Rock Cavern. I have completed most others on Heroic so far.

Also, if you want to do a heroic asap, I suggest Lost City of Tol'Vir... it, along with deadmines are the two easiest Heroics I have come across. Thoughs that's not saying much ;)

Wow up to 3 hours....I will rarely ever have that kind of dedicated time :(

Do you have the meta gem?

They wil get faster as people gear... but expecting most of them to take less than 1.5 hours would be a stretch....

and yes I do have that cut Ewok :)
 
A huge part of that length of time comes from wiping, running back, and buffing. Without that you can do heroics in less than an hour. Actually not wiping though will be a challenge for the time being until more people gear up and learn the fights.
 
Dradow and I just did one a few days ago that took about 40min. That was a result of people being decently geared (everyone was about item lvl 333) and everyone was staying out of the poop. I think I used my Tranquility 2 times to help out the healer. Making sure the healer is doing as little healing to you as possible is the key to most of the heroics. That means staying out of the poop and being able to do your job at the same time.

I think heroics will take less and less time as people get more gear and people learn that fire = bad. Basically, it'll be easier when people are better.
