Well, we didn't do as consistently well this week as last. As announced in tonight's raid, we're no longer leading it as 1) we'll be leveling in Cataclysm soon, and 2) we're no longer in TF. Best of luck to y'all!
Or it will make learning the fight vastly easier because currently the simplest of mistakes can one-shot you. If you can live through three or four mistakes with the higher DPS and higher health pools, you increase your chances for success significantly. :)
Bartender isn't doing certain things "automatically" any more. For certain things you'll have to create the proper paging function to get it to work. But it does work if you take the time to set it up. Does Dominoes handle it automatically? Because I may look into that mod as well.
I don't think the Valks will be much of a worry once we start out-leveling it. With average DPS being about 1.75x of what it is now at 85, and our health pools being considerably larger at 85 than now, two of the most non-forgiving portions of the fight become insignificant hurdles at 85...
The 470 is pretty much a waste of money when you throw in the 460. About the only "bad" thing about the 460 is the inability to Tri-Sli it... With the 580 displacing the 480 (and the 580 being better in every which way over the 480) I would only recommend a 460 if you're on a budget or a 580 if...
Despite having only one tank for about 20% of the fight, we got her down. :) Great job to all involved, and thank you very much to the non-regular TFers (Clearn and Zennen) who stepped up to the plate to help us take her down!
And again, a great night in ICC tonight. We tackled Blood Council (1 shot!) and took three tries at Blood Queen and defeated her. Then we walked over to Sindragosa and got her down to 32% on our very first attempt. Next week we'll work on Sindy. :)
I was having fun with discipline before the patch so I chose to keep it after. While I haven't raid healed since the patch, I can definitely say that healing heroics just got a lot more fun. I still use Clique for targeted healing; being able to smite heal the melee gives you yet another heal in...
Very nice job on taking down Professor Putricide! Between the gearing that people have done (both in and out of the raid) and the DPS/healing/tanking changes in 4.0.1, I think we're having a very positive direction in the DPS of the group, meaning that I think we're finally ready to start...
