The majority of my communication with everyone, even those very close to me, is done through IM. They have Lotus Notes at the office where I work, which has built-in IM, and I even type at people instead of poking my head in their offices. I like it better.

I don't have a problem with violence or sexual content in movies or games as long as they are there for a reason important to the story or artistic intent of the endeavor. For instance, there is a ton of violence and a pretty graphic sex scene in the movie Munich... but I did not have a problem...

I still use uTorrent, because the private trackers I am a member of "strongly recommend" it. On the Linux side I use Deluge.

I have heard that Apple has an unwritten rule that if you call their customer support and plead total system failure, they will allow you one redownload of every song you've ever purchased once per year. But obviously it's not guaranteed, so buyer beware. The moral is, back up your downloads...

Audacity is free and open source. FL Studio has a free version. If you want to get into production as a serious hobby or career though, you'll pretty much have to pay some money, unfortunately. I'm a strong believer in open source software, and I don't think there's any general computer task...

I never played the GC version, I skipped straight from the 64 original to the Wii... and it's awesome. My favorite characters are Ike, Game and Watch, and Kirby (my main from 64).
